Mary J Blige and Tiwa Savage's Emotional Reunion At Sister’s With Soul Concert (PHOTOS and VIDEO)

Queen of Hip-Hop Soul', Mary J Blige, showered encomiums on Tiwa Savage during her recent performance at the Sisters with Soul concert at the Eko Hotel Expo Centre in Lagos last September.

Tiwa is a former backup singer for Blige.

Mary J Blige stopped mid-way through her performance to acknowledge Tiwa Savage’s presence in the audience then recounted the tale of how they met and worked together, before inviting the “Eminado” singer onstage to join her.

The singing sensation proceeded to belt out a few notes to rousing applause from the audience and a heartfelt hug of appreciation from the Queen.
