New Star Lite for Nigerian Breweries revealed


It a new Star Lite, for  Nigerian drinker,  Nigerians woke up to a surprise announcement on Monday, February 10, 2014 as Nigerian Breweries’ the nation’s leading brewer, introduced a new crispy, truly refreshing and less filling beer into the market.


The new brand called STAR LITE, a crisp and ice cold refreshing lager beer was unveiled at a trade event where media partners and key distributors who had no idea of the big announcement were hosted to an exclusive event at Sheraton Hotel, Ikeja. Continue...




Popular comedian, Senator hosted the event while contemporary dance crew DNMT unveiled the new product after captivating a dance preformance.  


“The new STAR LITE beer is extra cold brewed and ice cold filtered a unique, innovative technique from Nigerian Breweries.
 
Like STAR Lager, STAR LITE contains no additives and preservatives and is a healthy offering for all our health conscious consumers,” says Walter Drenth, Marketing Director, Nigerian Breweries.



STAR LITE comes with a temperature sensitive Ice Cold icon on the front label. The indicator turns blue when the beer is at the best cold temperature for drinking. This is the first of its kind in Nigeria,” adds Mr. Drenth.


“This is another major achievement for Star which has become a leader in innovation and exciting change,”



Guests  present at the event include Olisa Adibua, Uti Nwachukwu, Yaw, Tee A, Gbenga Adeyinka amnongst many others. 



STAR LITE is available at select outlets across the country.

  1. Finally!!!! Star has done a little innovation in over 10 years in the industry!!! Wish they had made the bottle smaller and sexier tho... Oh and by the way Mr Dernth Star has NOT been known as a "leader in innovation and exciting change" rather they've been known to have been resting on their laurels. This is quite innovative however. Support your local industry!!!!
