Miley Cyrus's VMA Performance had a role in Robin Thicke & Paula's separation + how he begged Paula to change her mind

After the shocking decision to end their 9 year marriage, Robin and Paula who had been together for 20 years in total are said to have started their journey towards separation after the raunchy Miley Cyrus performance..Paula had had it but he begged her to act like she was cool with all his flirting and antics..I guess that's why people presumed they were in an open relationship

Robin was said to have been shocked by the seperation because he didn't know Paula was serious about it.Robin Thicke cancelled his Atlanta concert and flew to Canada to plead with his wife . Paula Patton told Robin she wanted to end the marriage.  Robin then abruptly cancelled his show, saying he had throat problems.  But the cancellation was solely so he could sit with his wife and try to change her mind.
