If any one so deserve it, it the lovely Jennifer Hudson, merican Idol seemed to be on its last legs after its 11th season concluded this May. Viewers were dropping like flies (a reported 10 million viewer loss this season). Fans were in an uproar about the judges. Nicki Minaj was the favorite to hate with her bored looks and eye rolling. Mariah Carey and Minaj did not get along and made it somewhat entertaining to watch with mini cat fights through the season. At least the talent in the top five this past season made up for the somewhat lackluster judging.
hopefully with Jennifer Hudson now added to the crew things will pick up, you never know.
