ACN Ireland Chapter to Organize Memorial Service for Late Ekiti Dep. Governor



In a signed press statement dispatched to AfricanOutlook, the organization's General Secretary, Mr. Deji Adenuga, said the service of songs will hold this Friday April 19, at the Heritage Kitchen, in Dublin.  Arrangements have also been concluded to ensure an impressive representation of the Ireland Chapter by a delegation of the group at the party leader's week long funeral ceremonies in her hometown of Ado-Ekiti and Lagos in Nigeria, beginning from April 22nd.



Describing the late deputy governor as amiable, the group commiserates with the entire people of Ekiti State.

The late Deputy Governor of Ekiti State, Mrs Olayinka, died on Friday 5th April 2013 after a protracted battle with cancer. The 52 year old banker turned politician is survived by her husband and three children.

Press release on Late Mrs. ‘Funmilayo Olayinka’s Service of Songs in Dublin-Ireland

This is to officially announce that there will be a service of songs in memorial of the amiable deceased Party leader and DeputyGovernor of Ekiti State Mrs. Olufunmilayo Adunni Olayinka, whose demise occurred on Friday 5th April 2013 after a protracted illness.

The service is being organised by the Action Congress of Nigeria, Ireland Chapter and will hold as follow:

Date:   19th April 2013
Time:   7:00pm prompt (No African time please)
Venue: Heritage Kitchen, 61 Millhill Industrial Estate

Delegate will later attend the burial program from Ireland, which will come up from 22nd –26th April 2013 in Ado-Ekiti her home town and Lagos where her family resides.
