Rotimi, who came to India on abusiness visa, developed local contacts and indulged in trafficking of narcotics drugs in Bangalore and Hyderabad after procuring drugs from one Hakeem, a Sudanese national residing in Delhi, a police official said.
The drug was procured for Rs 1,500 per gram and sold for Rs 3,000 per gram depending on the need of the customer, the official said adding "he (Nigerian) met Uday Kiran alias Bobby and supplied him the drugs", police sources said.
Uday Kiran acted in films like "Parare", "Rakshakulu", "Yuvarajyam" and "Facebook".
