A  A woman has died after being stabbed in broad daylight on a street in north London today.
According to the Evening standard 
Police were called shortly before 1pm to reports of a woman stabbed in Bruce Grove, Tottenham.
Officers and paramedics from the London Ambulance Service attended the scene.
The victim was aged between 40 and 50, Scotland Yard said.
Police did not confirm reports online from witnesses who claimed the woman was stabbed in the neck. Continue reading 

Twitter user Beresford Mack, who took pictures from the scene, posted: "One witness just told us he saw the stabbing some lady got stabbed in the neck."
Sergio Fernandes, 21, told The Tottenham Journal: "I think these people had issues together. I was talking to a few witnesses and they said he stabbed her up four times in the neck.
"He stood there knowing he had done something wrong and rolled up a cigarette and let the police take him away.
"She was lying there with the knife still sticking out of her neck, and he had blood all over his hands."
She was taken by ambulance to a central London hospital where she was pronounced dead.
An investigation has been launched by detectives from Haringey and murder detectives from the Homicide & Major Crime Command.

A 46-year-old man was arrested at the scene.
He has been taken to a north London police station where he remains in custody.
The A10 in Bruce Grove was shut between Tottenham High Road and Lordship Lane and is likely to be closed 'for a number of hours', Transport for London (TfL) said.
