During the rampage, Davis apparently doused the kitchen table with gasoline as well — and set it on fire. "I seen my life flash before my eyes right there," the unidentified victim told Bay News 9. "The house filled up with smoke. Fire and smoke and we couldn't get out."
Later that night, the 48-year-old Davis demanded his girlfriend have sex with him without protection despite her pleas to use a condom, she says. His girlfriend, who was aware of his HIV status during their brief relationship, had always insisted on using protection.
"He put the scissors to my throat and made me have sex with him," she told Bay News 9. "He said, 'You're gonna die one way or another.'" Davis, who has a long history of arrests, was later taken into custody and charged with criminal transmission of HIV, battery, false imprisonment, two counts of arson, two counts of aggravated battery and sexual assault. d boroff@nydailynews.com
