It wasn't just the sizzurp. Lil Wayne has confessed that his recent seizures – the ones that had journalists, fans, and the like all concerned that he was knocking on death's door just two weeks ago – were caused by epilepsy.
In a phone interview Thursday night, the "How to Love" rapper told DJ Felli Fel of Power 106 in Los Angeles about his neurological condition, which frequently leads to seizures.
"This isn't my first, second, third, fourth, fifth, sixth, or seventh seizure," Wayne said. "I've had a bunch of seizures. Y'all just never hear about them. But this time, it got real bad because I had three of them in a row."
The New Orleans native continued to explain that his team is typically prepared to handle his seizures, but the three in succession required his hospitalization, especially since the third one caused his heart rate to drop.
Lil Wayne, 30, is clearly feeling much better. He's out and about pimping his new album, I Am Not a Human Being II, out on Tuesday. He's also announced the America's Most Wanted Music Festival, a two-month summer tour featuring himself, T.I., and Future kicking off on July 9.
Amm happy he is okay
