Bank manager arrested for armed robbery in his own branch

The worst enemy to deal with is, and remains, the enemy within. They are often too close to you that you just can't suspect them of any wrong doing, until the bubble finally bust.
OluFamous.Com gathered that this same scenario played out in a bank in Delta State over the weekend as the branch Operations Manager of a first generation bank was arrested by police for allegedly coordinating a deadly armed robbery operation at the bank and carted away millions of Naira...

The gang had, in a commando style, succeeded in looting huge sums in both local and foreign currencies on Friday, while some bank customers and passers-by were wounded in the process.

Delta State Police command’s spokesman, Mr. Lucky Uyabeme, said “the arrested Operations Manager of the bank is helping the police in its investigation."

According to investigation, the keys to the strong room found their way to his possession. Another top staff of the bank is also a suspect as he suddenly fell sick and didn't come to work on the day of the robbery.
The police has vowed to get to the bottom of the incident and prosecute all involved.
