Single and Courtship

Most people who  are single but they don’t really understand what it takes to prepare themselves for marriage. They don’t see beyond them, please look beyond the pleasures of dating,  fancy restaurant, posh cars, dress sense, posh gift, and the lovely empty word, being single and getting married this day and age is something one has to take seriously,

The essence of dating or as our mums will call it, the courting, is the most important process, of knowing and understanding your life your  partner, without realising this, this is one of the basic foundation to start of your life with your partner. 

This is the time to know, the person you are courting, this the time to know if you can give your observation more time, or if your  are wasting your time.

We all know  it’s every woman’s dream to get married, so dating is a way of helping you find someone you are compatible with, there fore if you   don’t believe in divorce. you  really want to stay married and staying married is not an easy thing. Marriage means you are completely in tune with your partner understanding  all it takes to be married and staying married, which is part of  you been able to stand a lot of disappointments that would definitely come but then again you have to learn to forgive. 
Before you  choose a partner you will  have to ask yourself if this is the kind of person you would be willing to forgive no matter what when the time comes. If the answer is no, then that person is wrong for you. That person is not the person you want to get married to. If you know you can look into someone’s eyes and say yes, after hurting you,  than it a good sign, you can find it in my heart to forgive the person. If you can answer that question honestly and truthfully to yourself then you’ll know if that person is your partner or not. So compatibility is the word aside from the physical attributes that have to go with it.

Dating is not just about fun, but also about preparing your self and your life partner, so you must forget about the fancy cars, fancy parties, and restaurants and look more into your future, by finding someone you are ready to spend the rest of your life with. By Betty Nwabunike
