They have separated after 13 years of marriage, actor Michael Douglas, 68, and wife actress Catherine Zeta-Jones, 43.A rep for the couple released a statement today confirming the separation.
"Catherine and Michael are taking some time apart to evaluate and work on their marriage. There will be no further comment."
The couple married in 2000 and have two children Dylan, 13, and Carys, ten.
