Thank God I remember praying for them: finally kidnapped wife of Chief Justice, daughter and driver freed

After over two weeks since their abduction on the Benin/Ore Highway, Edo State, the wife of Supreme Court Justice, Justice Bode Rhodes-Vivour, alongside their daughter and driver have been freed by their kidnappers. Their release was confirmed on Tuesday by one of the aides of the Chief Justice of Nigeria (CJN), Justice Mariam Aloma Muhktar. It was not clear as at press time whether a ransom was paid, as the kidnappers had earlier demanded N200 million naira. The trio were on their way to Benin for the traditional wedding of the abducted daughter of the respected justice of the apex court when they were forcefully taken by gunmen.
