Disney Channel Introduces Its First Ever Same-Sex Couple On The Kids' Channel!

Last weekend, Kids' oriented TV network, Disney Channel, introduced its first-ever openly gay couple on the family series, Good Luck Charlie in an episode that made the lifestyle look perfectly normal. In the groundbreaking episode, parents Amy and Bob Duncan, played by Leigh-Allyn Baker and Eric Allan Kramer, set up a playdate for their preschooler Charlie (Mia Talerico) and one of her new friends, who, it turns out, has two mothers.

 Already, the introduction has met strong opposition from conservative watch groups, who are accusing Disney that it plans to corrupt children with LGBT content. But Disney maintains the episode was developed to be “relevant' to kids and families around the world.
That the characters were meant to reflect today’s world, as many viewers are young children with same-sex parents. Would you let your kids, lil siblings watch? Meanwhile, former Disney child star, Miley Cyrus is so excited with the introduction. Her statement:

When I heard about the directive from the All Progressive Congress, APC, to its members in the National Assembly to block the passage of the 2014 budget, all Executive Bills and to abort the screening of the Service Chiefs as well as any Ministerial nominees, my first reaction was that the news couldn't be true. And then it was confirmed on television by Lai Mohammed.

I thought, why would a political party that styles itself as a progressive party take such an anti people action? Block all Bills, even if they are in the interest of the masses! Imagine that! Well, there are progressives and then there are pro-aggressives!

The APC claim they are taking this route in order to protect the lives of the good people of Rivers State from alleged police brutality.

Really! Let's fact check this assertion.

Since the administration of Rotimi Amaechi of Rivers State started having a power tussle with their opposition, it is on record that not one life has been lost due to the activities of the Nigerian police. The only reported loss of life occurred when an ally of the governor, Honourable Chidi Lloyd, allegedly ran down a political rival, Kingsley Ejeuo, with his car, as well as a police sergeant, Urang Obadiah, who was performing his legitimate duties.

On the contrary, in the APC controlled state of Ogun, several people have been killed in the last month in intra party conflicts over who controls party structures in the state. In one of these incidents, eight people were killed as they met with members of the National Assembly from Ogun State including Senator Gbenga Kaka, Senator Akin Odunsi, Hon. Kunle Adeyemi, Hon. Olumide Osoba, Hon. Segun Williams and Hon. Ibrahim Ogunola . Now, the APC want these same Ogun legislators, whose lives were almost taken by alleged APC thugs working for the faction opposed to the Segun Osoba faction which they belong to to help them shut down the government because of a crisis in Rivers State where no life has been lost? What about their own lives that were almost lost and the lives of their supporters?

Nigerian man, Isaac Anya Ojiabo Jr , 20 years old, kills his Mother, Joy Ojiabo, 51, in Maryland, USA

A 20-year-old Forest Hill man was arrested by Harford County Sheriff’s Office deputies early Thursday morning, hours after police said he stabbed his mother to death in their home.

Isaac Anya Ojiabo Jr., 20, was taken into custody without incident at approximately 4:30 a.m., when detectives canvassing the Forest Hill area located him in his family’s white Lexus SUV at the intersection of Crouse and Putnam Road, Sheriff’s Office spokesman Edward Hopkins said.

Ojiabo was being held at the Harford County Detention Center Thursday morning, awaiting an initial appearance before a District Court Commissioner on charges of first and second degree murder and assault with a deadly weapon.

According to police, the body of Joy Ojiabo, 51, was found on the second floor of the family’s home shortly after 5 p.m. Wednesday by her husband, Anya Ojiabo, who was returning home from work. At that time, the younger Ojiabo was not present at the home, located in the 1600 block of Rushing Stream Court as part of the small, upscale development of Morning Brook Farm off Morse Road just outside Jarrettsville.

Bad Times : Nollywood Actor Emeka Ike Gets Ejected! -

 This is not the best of times for ace actor/school proprietor, the very popular Emeka Ike known for so many things and love for scandal.

 According to MaestroMedia, the very well known actor turned educationist's school located at 1, Raji Olamideji Crescent, Magodo beside PMS filling station on CMD road was shut down or better still taken possession of by the court last week Friday, January 24, 2014 after a protracted court case that lasted all of 5 years.

From the little information they were able to gather, Emeka had had a running battle with the owners of the property for the past 5 years, during which the well known actor refused to pay a dime to the property owners.

The school St. Nicholas College, a secondary school was established in 2008 by the ace actor. And according to the gist then, Emeka was supposed to have invested about N200 million in the making the school happen at the property that they have now been sent packing from.

Their traditional wedding took place on November 9th in Benin while their court wedding took place at the Federal Marriage Registry, Ikoyi, Lagos on the 30th of November.

Less than two months later our  Dude is denying being married. According to what he told Punch, the marriage was by proxy as he only represented his brother who couldn’t attend his wedding.

“I stood in for my elder brother. He couldn’t get his visa. They saw the pictures and people started saying I got married. Please, it is not me. I am not yet married. My girlfriend left me. A teenager in the United Kingdom is not allowed to be near pregnant women because he could harm their unborn babies. 14-year-old Bryant Hackett is a carrier of cytomegalovirus (CMV) and though it is not causing him any discomfort, it poses a grave danger to pregnant women and their foetuses. Hence Bryant has to go to an all boys school and hasn’t seen his pregnant sister ever since she conceived. Daily Mail reports:

Bryant, of Sunderland, Tyne and Wear, said: ‘I miss my sister a lot and can’t wait until she gives birth. She is due in a few weeks.’ Bryant was diagnosed with the virus in July of last year after a rare strain of hepatitis he believes he picked up while on holiday in Majorca left him with a catalogue of health problems. It caused him to develop liver failure and end up a with a blood platelet count of just four – the normal level is between 150 and 400. He suffered bone marrow failure and had to have two bone marrow transplants which first required him to have chemotherapy to clear his existing bone marrow. He was left with a weakened immune system, which caused him to contract pneumonia which his mother says almost killed him.

 But just incase you haven't heard, for using profane language on other people or pelting them with insults or abusive words on social networking sites, internet users in Nigeria now risk a jail term that ranges between 12 months and five years.
 Craziest part - you can also get sentenced to death if you are not careful according to the Cyber-Crime Bill 2013, which is now pending before the House of Representatives.

Here are the listed offenses in the bill with their punishment. I compiled them from the report Punch just released.

• insults publicly, through a computer system or network, you have committed an offense and will be liable on conviction to imprisonment for a term of not less than five years or to a fine of not less than N10m or to both fine and imprisonment.

‘It is very untrue’: No collabo between Kcee and Nicki Minaj, sources say

There are reports that the news of Limpopo hitmaker, Kcee planning a collaboration with American rapper Nicki Minaj are untrue.
The Limpopo master and Harrysong were reported to have recorded a song song with Minaj and another Young Money Cash Money artiste on a different song.
According to a source who spoke to hiphopworldmagazine.com, nothing like that has happened.

On Monday history was made at the Chapel of Our Lady at the Presidio in San Francisco as the first-ever state recognized human-animal marriage took place.

Local resident 35-year-old Paul Horner was the groom during the ceremony. Joining him was his faithful dog Mac who is 36-years-old in dog years. Mac also decided to be the groom but ended up wearing a white veil at the last moment.

Father McHale who officiated the outdoor wedding told reporters he was extremely happy to be a part of this joyous moment of life. “This is the definition of true love my friends. There is nothing more sacred than the bond between a man and his faithful dog,” McHale said. “Now, since it is recognized as a legally binding marriage in the state of California, Mr. Horner and Mac will have all the same tax benefits and everything else coming to them that a regular married couple would receive. It’s a fantastic day to be alive!”
