Special Assistant To Bayelsa state Governor Dickson Kidnapped In Rivers State

The Special Adviser to Governor Seriake Dickson of Bayelsa on Power, Mr Olice Kemenanabo, has been kidnapped in Rivers state.

Olice was abducted Sunday afternoon around the D-line area of the Rivers State capital, Port Harcourt by unknown gunmen. In the meantime, his visit to the neighbouring state of Rivers State cannot be confirmed. Kemenanabo was appointed in May last year, after serving as the Chairman of a committee set up by the state government to oversee power generation.

The development has again brought to the fore, the menace of kidnapping by armed bandits operating in
Southern the region.

The police is yet to make an official statement, while the family says the kidnappers are yet to contact the family.
